Absolut Closet of Prejudice Artboard

OVERVIEW:

We wanted to dismantle deep-rooted prejudices against the LGBTQIA+ community across India and shift the narrative from passive acceptance to active allyship with #AbsolutAlly. Instead of launching our campaign during the Pride Month, we chose World Coming Out Day in October to make a bold statement when discussions about the queer community were minimal.

The activation encouraged cis-het people to recognize and confront their own biases by metaphorically and literally "coming out" of The Closet of Prejudice. We fostered a sense of allyship and inclusivity by encouraging participants to declare themselves as an #AbsolutAlly, signaling their support for the queer community and creating safer spaces for them within their circles. Once all straights come out of their closet, the LGBTQIA+ community won't have to come out of theirs.
